Here is the Japan Commercial Buildings Pack containing all the Japanese commercial buildings I made so far and were previously included in the JPPack ( link : https://forum.theotown.com/viewtopic.php?p=172821#p172821)

This pack is a standalone pack and can be used without having the Japanese Residential Building pack .

This new update adds many traditional shops and old commercial buildings along with more corner buildings .

This pack contains 30 commercial buildings from various areas of Japan , including :

• 2 4x4 office skyscrapers
• 1 4x4 large office building ( variation of the tokyo30 residential building from the JPPack )
• a 4x4 and a 2x3 ( a 1x1 and 2x2 pieces) departement stores
• a 3x3 shopping center from Toyama
• a 3x3 commercial buildings block
• a 3x3 corner departement store
• a 2x2 office mid-rise building
• 5 2x2 row shops
• a 2x2 car garage
• a 1x1 mid-rise office building
• a 1x1 small hotel
• 3 1x1 and 2x2 buildings from the Kurazukuri no Machinami district in Kawagoe
• 6 2x2 traditional row shops inspired by Hirado and the Magome Juku area
• a 1x1 T level corner shop
• a 1x1 small hut like shop

Please note that this pack is still WIP so it's very likely I make more commercial buildings in the future .

Here is my new plugin : the new Japan Residential Building Pack ! This pack contains 220 + Japanese-themed T , TT , and TTT residential buildings for your city , from old historic houses to suburban homes , apartement complexes , low - rise buildings , and large-scale apartement towers !

This pack started as a basic update of my previous one , but because of the difference of quality i decided to keep them separate . 

This project started around 4 years ago , after i made a few buildings . I worked on most of the buildings during the 1st French lockdown ( around March-May 2020 ). 

As you might know , the original Japan pack was my first big plugin which made me part of the TheoTown communauty , so I pretty much consider this pack as a tribute to the original .

As said previously , the original idea was to make only Tokyo buildings , but eventually I added buildings from other areas , like Toyama , Nagoya , Fukuoka , Osaka , Kobe , and much more . The aim of this project is to make a variety of buildings inspired by Japan's architecture style , from historic wooden houses to state - of - the - art modern apartement buildings ! Around 95 % of the buildings are inspired by real life buildings will the last 5 % are either inspired by AI - generated images or coming from anime material . 

I was inspired to revive this project a few months ago after playing TheoTown again and using the NYC / North American pack , which has its own zone ( really recommend it ! ) . It made me want to make my own zone and that's how I got back into '  plugin business ' !

The reason I took so much time before releasing this new update was that I wasn't satisfied enough with the progress to publish it . But thanks to the fellow communauty of the Citadel Discord Server for their continued support and feedback I'm very happy to present this new update for you to enjoy !




This new update ( 2.4.10 ) is a small update that focus mostly on low-rise and apartement buildings .
This update includes 7 new buildings :
• a 3x3 TT and a 4x4 T generic apartement buildings coming both with 3 different height variations using animations 
• a small 1x1 TT bunch of building from Tokyo 
• a modern - looking 1x1 corner apartement coming with 3 corners 
• a 1x1 4 stories modern - looking apartement building from the Chuo area in Tokyo
• a 2x2 row of apartement buildings from Osaka
• a new variant for a T level sloped building inspired by the tokyo5 building from my 1st Tokyo pack 

This new update also come with the tokyo20 building reworked to my today's standards as well as the tokyo24 building ( the tall corner building ) which now have 2 different heights variations ( 4 and 7 floors ) thanks to animations , and a new mirrored variant for the fukuoka14 building ( the 3x3 row of tall buildings ) suggested by Fe Delas .

~ About the 4 zones of this pack ~

After installing this plugin , you will find 4 new zones in your residential tab .

The first one is the Traditional Japanese Zone : this zone allows you to build only traditional style buildings . Those are only 1x1 and 2x2 T and TT buildings and are quite limited in progress ( they don't grow a lot ), so please keep this in mind when designing your city .

The next zone is the long awaited Suburban Zone which has been requested by many people . This zone allows you to build only comtemporary houses and suburban homes . Those are only 1x1 and 2x2 T and TT buildings and don't grow a lot .

Third one is the low-density / low-rise zone which allows you to build only low - rise apartement buildings . It allows only buildings with 1 to 4 floors to spawn : quite handy if you want to control the maximum height of the buildings in a certain area . Got the idea of creating this zone due to many of fellows TT cities creators enjoying my low - rise buildings .

And lastly , the 'classic ' Residential Zone which was included in the previous update . This allows any building from this pack to spawn , including the tall 5x5 apartement buildings !

Completed in 1999, the Jin Mao Tower is the shortest of the three adjacent supertall skyscrapers in Shanghai. When completed, it was the tallest building in China and the third tallest building in the world, at 420.5 m (1380 ft) tall. It would be surpassed in height in China by the adjacent Shanghai World Financial Center in 2007. Now it is the 28th tallest building in the world.

Sorry for the long delay in making this plugin, I lost interest in TheoTown for a while. I figured I might as well finish this plugin, as it was mostly done and I just need to add some ground deco. I hope you enjoy! :D

The Jining Bank of China Building is located in Rencheng District, Jining City, to the west of People's Park. In the game, it is a commercial 4 * 4TTT with night views and can accommodate 92 people to work.

Jining Mingya Jingwei Hotel is a three-star hotel located in Jining City, Shandong Province, China. It also operates a restaurant and is the first Confucian themed hotel in China. In the game, it is a commercial TTT5 * 5 that can accommodate 478 people to work and has night views.

Jining ShengDi Hotel is located in the High tech Zone of Jining City. It is the first four-star hotel in Jining and opened in 1997. In the game, there is a 4 * 4, TTT commercial building that can accommodate 775 people to work. It used to have a red ball on the top, but now it has been removed, so I made two buildings, one with a red ball and the other without. This building has a night view, and the windows and top text will light up.

Jining WanXiangHe(万象和) International Financial Center is an unfinished building, located in Jining High-tech Zone, originally planned to be 260 meters high, if completed, it will replace the communication tower as the tallest building in Jining. This building consisted of the main building and the shopping center podium, and the podium was so big that I only made the main building. In the game, it's a 5x5 commercial TTT that can accommodate 3274 people to work, has a night view, and has a 50*50 cultural impact.

Some say He's a 600-tonne Ape, while others say He's a Master Chef, no matter the case, this UNIT of an individual is now in TheoTown! He has quite the lack of (Stealth Detection), but He does make up for it by providing decent Police and Management coverage.

Notes: When placed, John will play a silly voiceline (special credits to Forge for the code) for about 4 seconds. As stated above, since this plug-in plays custom sfx, the overall plug-in size is larger than usual. John is a trademark of GDILIVES (John) and the TDX Dev Team, pls don't sue me. This plug-in is just a decoration, He can't hurt you.

Hello , here is my new plugin : a pack of Japanese themed city halls .

This pack allows you to build 2 city halls based on the one in the city of Kurume and the one of Gotsu , Japan .

I made this pack because I believe there isn't a lot of municipal / management buildings . I already made several city halls with different architecture styles , and i already made a modern one ( Lons - le Saunier city hall) but it is low quality by today standards now and would require a rework . This pack was already complete for a long time ( since the end of August 2024 according to the naming in my files ) and I just forgot to upload it . Well , here it is !

I choose to do those ones because i wanted to do some Japanese public buildings in order to fit with a Japanese-themed city . I found about the Gotsu one thanks to the suggestion of @The_Real_Michael_1 in the ideas-for-plugins thread of this forum ( https://forum.theotown.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=1392&p=176128&hilit=City+hall#p176128 ) and the Kurume one while looking for inspiration for the JP residential pack .

The Gotsu City Hall is a 10x4 building in - game and provides some management ( 120 ) and a few park and culture influence . It is modulable and is splited into 2 3x3 parts and a 4x4 part . @wa64 made some edits to the building of the original pack , along with mirrored version of the building , which gives more life to it in my opinion . Great if you are looking for more details and more variety ! 

Here is a suggestion of decoration using the asphalt parking plugin and the no-sidewalk road plugin inspired by the IRL building : 

The Kurume City Hall is a 3x7 building in game and provides some management ( 180 ) and a few park and culture influence . It's unlocked at rank 9 and comes with 2 2x2 and one 3x3 pieces. Due to the repetitive design of the floors , I implemented animations in order to save some plugin space .

You can find all the puzzle pieces in their own respective subcategories in your management tab .

The ground is removed on all the buildings , allowing you to place different sort of grounds underneath the buildings .

Night and snow graphics aren't included .

Credits to Wa64 for making edits on the Gotsu City Hall and Theo&Lobby for the antennae graphics .
